Bio

Kit attended the California Maritime Academy, now Cal State University Vallejo and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering and an Officer commission in the US Navy. He also pursued an MBA at CSU Long Beach and Keller University.

He worked for the NOAA Seattle office and sailed to Alaska and Hawaii performing ocean scientific research. He then moved to Southern California and worked in Stationary and Mechanical Engineering jobs encompassing commercial and retail properties.

Kit moved to Maui where he was the General Manager of a luxury resort in Ka’anapali. Kit received his real estate license in 2004. He worked as a Navy reservist in Oahu and had many military and civilian real estate clients including property management.

Kit has extensive knowledge of condominium and single family residence electrical, plumbing and structural systems. He is astute at AOAO condo documents and financials.

His hobbies include golf, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, diving, hiking, biking, and reading. He is a member of the Kihei Community Association, Maui Condominium Council, Cal Maritime Academy Alumni Association, and Navy Reserve Association.

Kit is a Licensed Realtor ® Broker, a designation many discerning clients require. He has been recognized for his experience and undergone years of training in the intricate business of buying and selling properties. He is a distinctive member of the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) which provides in-depth training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards, and the real estate sales process. Kit has attained the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) certification which means he has been thoroughly trained to negotiate on behalf of clients and has received the benchmark of excellence in Buyer Representation. He also received the e-Pro certification providing him with the astute knowledge of social media tools and web browsing insight.
